Constructed by our expert log cabin builders with extensive experience in carpentry and log cabin construction, ensuring the cabins are built according to manufacturers' specifications in a timely manner. Our externally insulated log cabins come with a 10-year structural warranty, while our single skin log cabins are backed by a 2-year warranty. This does not apply for flat pack purchases.

Our Timber Frame and Block Pad Foundation features a robust 4x2 inch pressure-treated timber frame, supported by matching 4x2 inch pressure-treated timber stilts. This structure is covered with a damp-proof membrane and securely fixed to 4-inch cement blocks. Arranged in a one-meter grid formation, the foundation is slightly elevated off the ground, allowing air to circulate underneath and preventing dampness issues.

On sloped surfaces, the stilts can be extended higher for a small additional cost, eliminating the need for expensive ground levelling and topsoil removal. This design ensures a sturdy, well-ventilated foundation adaptable to various terrains. Additionally, the foundation includes a cover up to 30cm (1ft) and a single step matching the width of the door

The premium floor & roof insulation system includes 50/100mm of floor insulation, 100mm roof insulation, a breathable damp-proof membrane, a 25mm ventilated cavity, and a corrugated, tile-effect steel roof cover. This top-tier option ensures the roof remains protected from leaks for many years to come. The insulation significantly enhances the thermal capabilities of the log cabin, making it warmer in the winter and cooler in the summer, thereby ensuring comfort and usability throughout the year in all weather conditions.

The premium external insulation system includes 100mm of insulation, a breathable damp-proof membrane, a 25mm ventilated facade, and 19mm of pressure-treated ship-lap cladding. This top-tier option ensures the structural wall remains shielded from weather conditions, as the durable cladding safeguards the building, enhancing its lifespan and reducing upkeep expenses. The insulation significantly enhances the thermal capabilities of the log cabin, making it warmer in the winter and cooler in the summer, thereby ensuring comfort and usability throughout the year in all weather conditions. Additionally, this system is backed by a ten-year structural warranty.

Gutters and downpipes are essential for protecting your log cabin by directing rainwater away from the structure, preventing rot and reducing maintenance.

Thermowood is known for its extreme dimensional stability in all climates. The thermal modification with only heat and steam, without any chemicals or toxins, enhances the Finnish Pine and Spruce into a durable and long-lasting material for decorative surfaces. Natural greying of Thermowood is combined with low maintenance and yet a long life-cycle of the products.

While our log cabins come with finished softwood floors, some prefer a more durable, low-maintenance option. Our 12mm premium laminate flooring is designed to be harder-wearing and easier to maintain, offering the perfect solution.
