Dermot & Carlos in Athlone were very professional and so easy going. As a person in the Timber trade i was going to be particular on what i wanted and quality. The build is of very strong structure, well installed. The 2 men stood and completed works in 6 days. Worked well with my other trades on site. To say im happy would be an understatement. We purchased our Kilkenny 6 x 4m log cabin from Dermot and to say we are over the moon and blown away is an understatement! We had a very positive experience from start to finish. From the very beginning, Dermot in sales made the experience all the more manageable. He was extremely professional, responsive & helpful throughout the entire process. The carpenters Rado and Martin were experienced, diligent and precise. The workmanship and quality of the log cabin is outstanding. They were so professional, efficient and a pleasure to deal with. Additionally, they left the place spotless. Dermot, Rado and Martin are credit to loghouse and a great representative of the company. The only watch out to be mindful of is that the project manager had told me to have the electrician and plumber ready for 4pm on the first day of installation when really this should be the morning of the second day.

I just want to say a massive thanks to longhouse for our cabin , I ordered the 2 bed type A on the 11 of September and it’s built and all 5th of October you will not get better service then that in Ireland. The finish is by fare the best quality I’ve seen . The 3 lads that did the job for use very friendly and very professional carpenters there was no shortcuts taking every trim is finished to a very high standard inside and outside . Even on the last day they cleaned up all used materials and left off cuts in a nice neat pile and removed all debris and packing from around the garden , I just want to thank the 3 lads that did the job and crew in head office for always updating me with emails , and a big thanks to Steven o Driscoll in the cork show room a true gentleman for helping use , this guy really knows his stuff

We chose Loghouse after looking into many other companies offering garden rooms, but in the end went with Loghouse Ireland as they have the most experience, and were actually better value than the competitors. We have our garden room a few months now, and we are so happy with it. We went with the 6.2 x 4.4 Eco garden room, after viewing the smaller version in their Glen of the Downs showroom. We have been planning to get a logcabin since the lockdown as it would be perfect for our home office and I cannot be happy enough that we have decided to go with the "Loghouse". A big shout out to Keith from Bray showroom, he has spend with us over an hour going through the details and our endless questions, so we decided to go with "Greystones Log Cabin 4x3". Builders team who came to install our cabin have also been a real professionals! They have put our cabin in just 2 days! My below review is an honest experience that I have encountered via LogHouse (LH) for the purchase of my cabin. Whilst there were issues and problems with communication and delays, I am however absolutely delighted with the end product.
I ordered cabin in June, with assembly due in Dec same year, which was inadvertently delayed until January next year due to material delays. Communication around this wasn't great at the time. The cabin was a custom build designed for a purpose, but plans given to the contractor were for a regular cabin, not my cabin which delayed construction by a day (sounds small but it has a knock on effect to it being completed along with the contractors (which were superb) and delaying them to), to get things clarified and come back with sufficient wood to build my cabin. Then there was a delay with the windows arriving into Cork instead of Dublin (they wanted to build before X-mas, even though they were not in the country (another communication problem), this delayed construction by another day, (one window was faulty when installed that was highlighted and instead of leaving it unfinished, they ordered one and came back a few days later and swapped over).
I went with all suppliers provided by the LH, however there seems to be a lack of communication between LH, third parties and myself. I had to manage the project more than I was promised (maybe down to the custom build element of it as it is a one of kind). However - I love my cabin. It is beautiful and serves the purpose perfectly.
My account manager was great through the ordering process and the contractors were also brilliant.
However, because of the lack of communication from LH I can not give it 5 starts. I have had communication with LH about the process and I hope the feedback will be taken on board for other customers to which I have recommended (advised to keep communication key).
LH focus is 70% on new sales and 30% on project management and communication - it should be an equal split in my opinion.

However, as I said at the very beginning I am delighted with the end result. The quality of materials, finish and overall product.

I highly recommend this company.. my experience with them has been fab since day one. I have been dealing with Rinalds Vanags and he has made things so easy to understand and I have felt very clear every step of the way so far buying a log cabin. Thanks to all at Loghouse.ie, keep up the good work! Will update review with a photo when we are all finished.

As it was a custom build, there were several extra consultations required and a site visit. The communication and feedback throughout the process was excellent. Time lines and promises were kept. I got exactly what I paid for and I’m very happy with the build quality of the structure.

Bought a Cabin from loghouse.ie in may 2024. Was delivered and erected within a week of ordering. Workmen were fantastic and put in 3 long days to get the job completed. They were pleasant and professional and clean taking all rubbish away with them. Would highly recommend Loghouse based on quality of service, product, price and workmanship.

We had a custom built Loghouse constructed in our rear garden. From contract signing to painting and oiling (including plumbing and electricity) took approximately 6 weeks. The majority of this was a 5 week lead time for manufacture (in Lithuania) of a custom made cabin. The process was perfectly smooth, non intrusive and professional. The speed of build was impressive.

If you are thinking of purchasing a log cabin, I would have no hesitation in recommending Loghouse.ie. I had heard very good things about Loghouse.ie and I knew from experience their cabins were excellent so I decided therefore to contact Keith in their Dublin office directly. I couldn't have made a better decision. Despite only phone/email contact, Keith was extremely helpful and made the ordering process very simple and answered my many questions. After my order was placed I was contacted by Eli who handled the whole installation process. I have to say a big thank you to him for helping us out when on the day of installation there was an issue with our groundwork. He really went above and beyond to ensure our cabin was installed on time. The build team themselves were excellent and extremely fast, they liaised with my plumber and electrician so they could to do their first fix, they went over everything with me and checked I was happy before finishing up and left my property clean and tidy. The painter arrived within one day of the build being completed and also did an excellent job. I couldn't have received a better service and the finished job is excellent. The exterior insulation was one of the best additional features we purchased as the heat that the cabin retains is fantastic. We are so happy with our cabin and delighted with the service we received from Keith, Eli and all the team.

My log cabin was recently put up. It took less than a week. The workers were incredible. I couldn't recommend it more highly. With the struggle to buy a house, I now have a small two bed log cabin. It's wonderful and I will keep telling anyone that listens to buy one.
